I don't have very many scrapbooking customers. Most of them prefer card making and creating 3D items. So you may not know it, but I really enjoy keeping scrapbooks of so many important memories in my life.
One of the initial reasons for my becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator was so that I could attend all the events with my daughter, Aly Schilling. We decided to get together once a month for scrapbooking all the Stampin' Up!-related activities we're involved in. I don't know what's more fun--working on scrapping the memories, or just simply spending time with my daughter!
Once I figure out how to take good pictures of my scrapbook pages, I'll share some with you. Right now, I'll show you the outside of the album--it's Stampin' Up!'s Linen Post Album in Real Red, decorated with some of our great accessories.
Our team is called The Heartfelt Stampers, and my sub-group is called The From the Heart Stampers so of course I chose a red album.
Here's a close-up of the heart on the front. Don't forget, you can always click on the pictures to view a larger version. The ribbon is now retired; it was from Beachfront Ribbon Originals. The heart is a chipboard piece from On Board Accents. I covered it with a piece of Confetti Cream card stock, then used the Sanded background stamp in Sahara Sand. The "Heartfelt" came from the Tres Chic background stamp; I just inked the one word with a marker. Then I applied VersaMark ink to the entire heart and applied 2 coats of Clear Embossing Powder. The small heart is covered in Real Red Craft Ink, heat set, then covered with a piece of Sticky Pages (Yes, now Sticky Strip comes in 12" x 12" sheets! Pg. 180 of the new Catalog.) and applied the red Chunky Essentials Stampin' Glitter. The word "Stampers" is computer generated on a piece of Real Red card stock, and I used the Crop-A-Dile to punch a hole in the chipboard for the ribbon to slide through.
