With my Manager's promotion in October 07, I felt increasingly led to support my downline, but in a different way than Aly supports us all on the Heartfelt Stampers team. She does such a fabulous job with her monthly team times! I am so blessed to have such an active upline and team support!
Several of my downline are hobbyists, and I thought it would be fun to look at our team times as a chance to build friendships through our mutual love for stamping.
We meet at my home once a quarter at 2:00 on a Sunday afternoon. We have yummy desserts, tea and coffee, and I do some recognition prize give aways for highest sales, consistently increasing sales, etc. I plan a project for everyone to say thank you to a wonderful group of women in my life. In April, we met for the first time. Although 5 people were scheduled, just 2 ended up being able to come. Here's a picture of our project. You might recognize it from the Palm Springs Leadership 08 make and takes. I just changed "family" to "friends". It's using the large On Board Book Basics and East Coast Prep Designer Series Paper, star chipboard, rub-ons and Sweet Celebrations and Taffy Alphabet stamp sets. We had such a wonderful afternoon, and we hope more of our gals will join us in July.
