Here's a fun and fast technique that I showed my customers during the month of March. The main image is from Echoes of Kindness, a Level 2 hostess stamp set. I just love the flower images in this beautiful set! This image is stamped with Staz-On black ink on vellum, then we turned the paper over and colored the flowers with a bashful blue marker, then attached it to the same sized whisper white card stock with mini glue dots (I discovered that they don't show through the vellum). The effect is a bit like stained glass. The striped paper is from Washington Apple Designer Series Paper, and I used a piece of Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon which begins underneath the designer paper, then runs behind the main image and is just tied in a knot on the side. The "for you" saying is from Fresh Cuts and is popped up on a dimensional and hung off the taffeta with a piece of white crochet thread.
