Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration #7
Here's Kristina's color inspiration for this week. I combined it with the Splitcoast layout challenge for this week below.
And here's my card! I started off using a 6"x6" piece of Close to Cocoa card stock, folded in half, makes a 3"x6" cards, perfect to hold a check or money gift, and fits into Stampin' Up's Small Open-End Envelopes. I cut 1/2" off the front long edge of the base and used a piece of Prints Designer Series Paper in Soft Sky, folding 1/2" back to expose the back side of the paper. I added a piece of Chocolate Chip Poly-Twill and tied on 2 pieces of Soft Sky Double-Stitched Ribbon. I used the stamp set Pun Fun to stamp the main image in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink, then added Clear Embossing Powder and heat set. I colored the image in with a Blender Pen and Classic Stamp Pads in Close to Cocoa and Soft Sky then added Crystal Effects to make the mug looked glazed. I cut the oval using the Coluzzle and sponged the edges using Close to Cocoa. The scalloped edge around the oval is made by punching a piece of Chocolate Chip from the Scallop punch, then cutting it out, stretching it a bit, and adhering it to the backside of the Very Vanilla oval. The corners are made by punching another piece of Chocolate Chip from the Scallop punch, cutting them into quarters and using the 1/16" handheld punch at each scallop. They're mounted with dimensionals.

Super cute! Love the image- it's so fun!
